Airfield Happenings

FWF Events....

  • Who we are: Fairweather Flyers is an active community of aviation enthusiasts who like to hang out at the airfield and enjoy the comradery of like minded friends. We occasionally get up to some mischief - fly out for that $100 hamburger or to breakfast at one of the many breakfast fly-ins in the NC, SC, TN region.

  • We do a group breakfast nearly every Saturday around 7:30ish. During late Spring and Summer it is usually held at the Airfield at Mark's and Alex's hanger - BYOB (bring your own b...). When it cools off and the hanger gets a little too nippy for the old codgers (that's most of us...) to hang out we usually go to a local breakfast joint. Contact us (fwf@airfield8nc9) to find this week's location.

  • Group Lunch on Wednesdays. Same as breakfast. In good weather we do it at hanger. In less good weather we usually do one of the Ingles close by.

To join the group please don't hesitate to reach out to us - fwf@airfield8NC9.org
