8NC9, or Johnson Field as we call it here, is a small private airport in Hendersonville, NC, co-located with 0A7 - Hendersonville, NC airport and the Western North Carolina Air Museum, providing a unique experience for aviation enthusiasts and travelers alike.

Johnson Field (8NC9) is a private turf runway located in Hendersonville, NC. The field features a 2,700-foot runway and is used primarily for general aviation and flight training. Permission to land is required.

Hendersonville Airport (0A7) is open to the public and features a single asphalt runway (15/33) that is 3,075 feet long and 40 feet wide. The airport operates from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It offers major airframe and powerplant services, but does not provide fuel.
